Easy fairly flat hike along beautiful lake after beautiful lake! Part of the John Muir Trail. The parking I hear can be a nightmare in the prime Summer season, so I recommend going early. The road is paved but loaded with potholes, the most deadly one in the shadow of the trees on the east side of the roadway, in between the rock creek resort and mosquito flat.
