This would be a decent grocery store if it didn't price gouge their own neighbors.

I've seen the replies and excuses to other negative feedback but you could drive out into the middle of the desert and find a box of cereal for less than 10 dollars. (I can see the reply already. Yes I'm rounding up from the box of Lucky Charms I saw there for 9 dollars and some change. LOL)

Manawa isn't on the main strip but it's not exactly out of the way either. Other small town grocery stores are always a little higher but this is on a different level entirely. Yes... I've been to many around here. I've done my research.

Just take the 15-20 minute trip to Waupaca or New London if you're going to do a lot of grocery shopping. Honestly everything is way cheaper at the Dollar General across the street and they're usually the ones price gouging these small towns. That should say it all...

We are so lucky to have this little gem of a grocery store in Manawa. For a small store, they excel at keeping things fresh and keeping a variety. The meat and produce is of great quality - which is probably a hard task for a small store. The owners are very humble and gracious even when dealing with some challenging characters who don’t understand the challenges of keeping a retail business in a small town. I never hesitate to purchase here. We can even find fresh herbs here! The store is kept up well and is so clean and organized. It may cost a little more at times as they purchase less quantity than large stores and don’t get the same purchasing perks, but is more than worth it in...

Your typical local grocery store. Clean, friendly staff, good selection for the size. You can often find a few reasonable price sale items here, Mondays are usually a good day if you are looking for a bargain. However it's a small store so you won't see Walmart prices on groceries. Has a Deli Counter if you are looking for hot food, but if you show up after 12:30 don't be surprised if the local workers have cleaned them out of a lot of items.
