Fallon's Furniture — Local services in Manchester

We initially were very pleased with our shopping experience at Fallons. Things started going downhill after delivery of the accent glider chair and loveseat that we had purchased. As soon as we tried to sit in the glider seat it was obvious something was not right - its base had been assembled backwards! No one would take responsibility for that; I had to fix it myself. The love seat had seat cushions that were unequally filled. No one believed me until a service rep finally came and agreed it was indeed a problem and fixed it. I had requested to purchase a support bracket for the loveseat multiple times over the last few months; their service dept will not get back to me. The quality issues mostly originated with the furniture manufacturer ("Best Furniture") but Fallons dropped the ball on this as well. btw: I wish I had checked customer reviews and BBB ratings for 'Best Furniture' - terrible! We had never been to Fallon's, which I'm sure will surprise many. Our furniture shopping usually consisted of visits to other stores in the Nashua area. Going to Fallon's for the first time was a surprisingly pleasant furniture-shopping experience. Mariah was exceptionally helpful without being pushy at all; pushy sales reps make us leave an establishment. She explained each piece we looked at and we were most delighted to learn the ones we liked were made in the USA. Prices were comparable to what we saw at those "other" places, but I think what sold us on Fallon's was Mariah's demeanor. Her patience while I looked through SO MANY fabric options as we also joked and chatted amiably with her and Jenna (hope I got her name right) made the entire experience a pleasure. Researching power lift chairs led us to Fallon's which we've never been to before.

We were met by Mariah who spent quite a bit of time with us. First we surveyed, tried and eventually bought a lift chair. They have two lines of chairs on display and a reaonable choice of them to try out. We discussed the chairs, the placement away from the wall, fabrics, capabilities and more.

She was cheerfully answering our questions, went over the purchase and warranties.

Purchasing was easy and we're expecting the chair in a week or so.
