Paramount Wine and Spirits — Local services in Manhattan

I wish I could give this business more than 5 stars because it's unlike any other convenience store/liquor store that I have ever purchased from. The owner and his staff are so friendly and make your experience personal. I easily sit there for 10 minutes just talking about the day, and to see what's going on. If they don't have what you are looking for, he will try to get it asap, no joke. I've been a loyal customer ever since they opened and this is the only place I'll ever get my alcohol from. There are a dozen places closer to where I live but you'll never get the personal connection unless you go to Paramount Wine...

I stopped in for the first time because I needed some wine, the owner and another man working there asked if I needed help. I was expecting to be laughed out of the store when I told them that I normally pick out wine by the label artwork. Instead, they helped me pick out wine that would work for having my neighbors over for dinner. The store is extremely clean and organized and they seem to stock everything anyone could want for any occasion. Manuel has expanded his selection of cigars. He has some of my favorites from Macanudo, Oliva, Davidoff, Diesel, and many others. He has Boveda humidity packs and he carries other accessories as well. There is a great selection of, beer, wine, and spirits too. Manuel will either have what you want/need or he can find it for you. I'm a huge fan of his store, and his customer service is outstanding.
