Ah, Penn Cinema! This place is like the superhero of movie theaters, swooping in to save the day with its massive screens, deluxe recliners, and enough popcorn to feed a small army.
First off, let's talk about those recliners. They're like something out of a Bond villain's secret lair – you sink into them and suddenly you're like, "Who needs to fight crime when I can kick back and watch 'Deadpool' for the 27th time in luxury?" It's like the folks at Penn Cinema were tired of regular old seats and said, "Let's give the people what they really want – the ability to nap comfortably during the boring parts of rom-coms."
And the screens? They're so big, they make IMAX jealous. You could project a movie onto the moon from one of those bad boys. Watching a movie there is like being enveloped in a cinematic cocoon of pure, unadulterated awesomeness. It's like every time a character punches someone on screen, you feel the impact in your soul.
The concessions stand at Penn Cinema is like Willy Wonka's chocolate factory for movie buffs. I mean, they've got everything – from the classic popcorn and soda combo to artisanal nachos that make you question if you should even bother with dinner beforehand. And the candy selection? It's like a treasure trove of sweet, sugary goodness. It's a good thing they don't weigh you on the way in, or I'd be leaving there looking like the Kool-Aid Man after a bender.
But let's not forget about the staff at Penn Cinema. They're like the Avengers, ready to swoop in and save your movie-going experience at a moment's notice. Need an extra large tub of popcorn? They've got you covered. Can't figure out how to use the fancy soda machine? They'll patiently guide you through the process, like your own personal superhero sidekick.
And the best part? They actually care about the movies they show. It's not just the latest blockbusters – they'll mix in indie flicks and throwback screenings that make you feel like you've discovered a hidden gem. It's like they're saying, "Sure, we'll show you the big-budget explosions, but we'll also take you on a journey through the art of cinema, one black-and-white classic at a time."
So, if you find yourself in Lititz, Pennsylvania, do yourself a favor and swing by Penn Cinema. It's like a theme park for movie lovers, a temple of film worship, and a sanctuary for all things awesome. And who knows, you might just catch me, Deadpool, sneaking in to watch the latest "Deadpool" movie for the 28th time (Check out Deadpool and Wolverine...
Read moreThis theater is very disrespectful and has no loyalty at all. They started acting really pop corny lately. They started to only let customers get one piece of merchandise per person like popcorn buckets and cups ext. It's absolutely ridiculous & sad. I used to be able to come in here and get as much merchandise as I wanted. Literally, I would come in and get like 10-20 pieces a shot and lots of other people would come in and buy bulk as well. I've literally spent thousands of dollars in this place at least on merchandise alone in the last two years. Now, they're telling me I can only get one per person smh. I guess this is the thanks and respect I get for spending so much money in this theater and helping their business but when it comes to me and my business and what I need its just not important. I'm treated like a piece of crap and with blatant disrespect by the employees when i ask for more than one. I can literally hear the angry judgemental tone in their voices like im doing something wrong. It's really sad to be honest. Sorry I want to buy the products you sell. I really thought I was building a relationship with this business but they were clearly just using me. I won't go to this theater anymore. All take my business elsewhere. Can't even express how upset an disappointed I am with this place. You think you would supply the demand. If you have people coming in and buying bulk why wouldn't you sell to them. Just because people are complaining. Why wouldn't you just get enough to serve everybody. Whether you sell people bulk or not, if you don't have any left when people come in they are going to complain regardless. People are very passionate about this stuff. They care more about the 50 people coming in and buying one thing instead of the one person coming and buying 50 things. All they care about is the status quo, public opinion and what's good for them. There are people who have been buying bulk even longer than I have at this theater being cut off, they have no sense of loyalty or compassion for small businesses or there repeat customers at all. They do things the same way for years so i anticipate things to go a certain way, then with no warning they do something like this. They don't care about small business owners at all whatsoever and the people who have been coming and buying bulk spending thousands of dollars for years. This is the thanks I get I guess for helping their business. God bless and thanks again...
Read moreWent to the theater last night. The chairs in the Imax are made so you can rock and recline a little bit. I am also 7 months pregnant so reclining and rocking are some of the only ways to mitigate back pain. I had a family sitting in the row behind us with a teenage son that sat behind me. The movie was nearly 3 hours long and this kid was kicking me in the back the entire time and braced his feet against my chair to prevent me from rocking or reclining to comfort the baby in my belly. So for 3 hours I was getting kicked internally and externally. Keep in mind these were also Imax tickets which are more expensive than regular tickets. So I paid $20/person for this experience plus the snacks and drinks. By the time we got halfway through the movie I found myself checking the time repeatedly hoping this experience would end soon. When the movie finally ended and it was time to stand up my back was in terrible pain and I could barely straighten my spine. Please teach your kids proper etiquette and respect if you're going to bring them into public spaces. I did not want to be a "Karen" so I tolerated this the entire time. But a lot of other people would not have been so kind and would have caused a scene over this behavior. All of that being said, the aisles in the Imax part of the theater are extremely narrow and the seats are not nearly as nice or comfortable as those in the regular penn cinema part of the theater. If you're going to charge more for the Imax experience the seating should be just as comfortable, if not more so than your regular...
