I LOVE the Uintas. My first backpacking experience, through a pre-orientation program with my school, was here. I’ll be returning to lead that program this summer. I’d recommend climbing King’s Peak if your route/time allows. The views are breathtaking. There are no mosquitoes. There’s no need to bear bag your food. It has something...

I didn't get to explore where I wanted due to the fires. I stayed on the north side of the range and it did not disappoint! The whistle Creek trail was exactly what I was looking for! It pushed my endurance, expertise and gave me everything I was looking for. I can't wait to go back! God bless the...

With the temperatures starting to drop and the fall colors beginning to show, now is the time to hit the road to explore these beautiful and unique Utah places. SAVE to plan for now and later. 📍Capitol Reef National Park Striking yellow cottonwoods against the red rock cliffs typically late Oct. - Early Nov. 📍Uinta Mountains Enjoy hikes to 1000s of lakes now that the crowds and the bugs are gone. 📍San Rafael Swell Iconic and National park worthy Utah desert hiking including Goblin Valley State Park 📍 Logan Canyon is known for its spectacular show of fall colors. Enjoy a quieter side to northern Utah hiking. 📍Bear’s Ears National Monument Ancient Ruins, petroglyphs and fall colors against southern Utah sandstone. 📍Antelope Island State Park Golden prairies teeming with wildlife such as Bison and Pronghorn. Hike, mountain bike, or on horseback to take in views of the Wasatch, Oqquirh, and peaks of the west desert mountains reflected in the waters of the Great Salt Lake. 📍Maple Canyon. (Fountain Green, Utah) Peak colors typically end of Oct-early November. Flaming red maples against unique conglomerate cliffs with hoodoos, an arch, and a unique box/slot canyon. 📍Natural Bridges National Monument Hike under some of the world’s largest natural bridges surrounded by bright yellow cottonwoods 📍Red Canyon Located right on Hwy 12 near Bryce Canyon National Park. Enjoy quieter hiking, biking, ATVing, and horseback riding among the red rock hoodoos. 📍Horseshoe Unit of Canyonlands. Remote and sometimes difficult to access this canyon protects some of the most impressive panels of indigenous rock art including the Great Gallery which stands 8 ft tall and 200 ft across! Remember to leave no trace when exploring outdoors. #yesvisitutah #roadtrips #southernutah #utahhikes #hikingutah #optoutside #fallcolors #nationalparks #capitolreefnationalpark #fallhiking #letsadventure utahhikes #roadtrip #southernutah #divine_deserts #discoverutah #girlgetoutside #adventuremoment #findyourtrail #goplayoutside #hikinglifestyle #lifeofadventure #beautifuldestinations #beutahful #fallcolors #fallhikes #neverstopexploring
