You would do well to steer clear of this facility. Although it looks fantastic it is completely understaffed there is a huge lack of communication most patients sit in their room all day unattended, if you voice your complaints to the staff they get vindictive and retaliatory. My father was transferred there as a severe TBI patient and had two Falls in his first three days there because the nurses wouldn't respond to his call light when he had to go to the bathroom, neuro checks not being done bandages not being cleaned and replaced, the list goes on and on! Unfortunately this seems to be the case with a lot of facilities that are understaffed these days but due to the horrific management of this facility I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere if you care for...

Has anybody else got a bad experience. I dealt with a very rude 2nd shift head nurse section 400. I was lied to and there was theft of a neck cushion but later returned on my mother's day of getting out. I was lied to and accused of stealing a seat cushion which was actually my mother s. They saw me leaving with it when I was leaving with my mom's old wheelchair. I had gotten her a new one. All excuses were we don't use that. Also my mother had a fall because they didn't know how to handle her if she needed to go to the bathroom. This area needs to have a positive frame of mind instead a negative effect. I was placed in the rehab at Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation after a four day stay in ICU. My time in the hospital and then at rehab were all first time events in my life. Everyone on the staff from transportation to your facility from the hospital, admission, all of the nurses, CNAs, nursing assistants and all of different areas of therapy were GREAT!! While my immediate goal was to get home sooner than later nine days went too quickly. All my needs were quickly met and finally going back home seemed too soon.
