A Second Chance Animal Shelter — Local services in Manning

We found the sweetest puppy on North End of Lake Marion who Olivia named Lucky she was apparently abandoned by the owner due to a prolapsed anis. We called several vets in the area to help Lucky and not one of them would help!!! That was so frustrating to me being that they make good money you would think one would have a ❤️!! The only place that showed compassion and love is the Second Chance Shelter for animals. Called about bringing some baby kittens there and we are in Manning but was told they were not accepting kitten at this time. But their motto is protecting the unwanted animals of Clarendon county. What a lie ! She then told me they have a waiting list. So what good are they for the community if the tell you , you have to find somewhere to take them. I just don't understand and I have always tried to support them but now not so sure. Explained I live in apartment and am allergic and can not care for them.
