We played here on Friday May 20 and started around 8:30 a.m. There was no one in front of us as far as we could see. As we got a few holes into our round a group caught up to us. We noticed the group was playing best ball from the senior tees. (We were playing stoke play from the white tees). We did pretty well with our pace but they did have to wait a few times. Around hole 12 or 13 the starter/ranger met us on a tee box & told us they were backing up behind us and the group in front of us had finished and asked if we could help her out & speed up. (As I said, we never saw them so we don't know how far ahead they were to begin with). I informed her that we were playing stroke play & the groups (tournament?) behind were best ball & there is no way we could play faster than them & letting multiple groups through would not help. She kept repeating (if you could just help me out & I kept saying we can't play faster than best ball especially if they all play from the front tees). We finished our round under 4.5 hours which is very good. The course and other staff were good but the ranger starter was very rude & obviously doesn't get pace of play. Don't know if I will go back...disappointed! UPDATED TO 3 STAR. Course and other staff deserve a...
Read moreI stopped in to play a round at this highly recommended course in the middle of no where. I really enjoyed my time as the course was well maintained (even after a bunch of rain recently). The front nine weaves through a neighborhood with new construction taking place between #3 and #8. The back nine is the gem! Quiet, wide fairways, no houses. I give 4/5 because of the age of facilities as it seems the course had some former glory days, but curb appeal and service wasn’t 5 star. Thanks for a nice, affordable...
Read morePlayed here last week while staying at a lake house for vacation. Fun layout with a bit of water. The fairways are moderately wide, tee boxes in great shape and the greens fast. $30 for a 7:45am Wednesday tee time with cart is a pretty good deal for this course. It gets a little close to houses on number 7 but is a dogleg right - manageable for most right handed slicers. The missing star is for the clubhouse attendant. He was less than personable. Not rude, just felt like we were doing him a favor by...
