I've been growing my beard out since I started college in 2004. Since then I have always shaved my own head and trimmed my own beard. I decided this month I was going to try Barley's because I drive past there almost every day and the reviews were insanely good. I booked an appointment online which was super easy and convenient.

My barber was Mike Long and let's just say the reviews were spot on and I was completely satisfied with the service. They are very invested in their trade and absolutely love what they do. On top of that, you won't have them trying to sell you on any products. All in all, they did a fantastic job making sure I was taken care of. They even gave advice on beard care and pointers on how to have the best looking beard.

I only live about a mile from the business and I had someone drop me off because I wanted to walk back for the exercise. I had a ski trip planned two weeks later and really needed to get some walking in. After paying, I mentioned to Mike I was walking home and he offered to drive me. This was an offer from a dude I had never even met before. I was blown away. I of course turned him down because I needed the exercise but WOW.

Johnny has been cutting my hair for over 5 years now and I have not trusted anyone with my hair since. Though I've never gotten a cut with Mike L I know that the man also can cut hair like no other. This is definitely the best barbershop in Lancaster County & York County combined. Although I was not around in the 50s/60s this barber shop encapsulates that era with a VERY modern twist. Both of the men cutting hair are awesome and can hold a conversation with just about anyone. It's a great shop that you can bring all of your friends to or you can bring your family to (children, grandparents, parents). Appointments are online which nearly eliminates wait time....
