Beware of Ashleigh/Jennifer's property. They can act unprofessional. I accidentally carried back in my car a parking hangout (synthetic sheet with handwritten apartment number) and they said it was not a problem and I don't need to mail /return it. Then she insisted on receiving a 5-star review (and complaints regarding the apartment to be shared directly with them instead of noticing them on on Airbnb reviews). Soon after, they requested Google rating of 5 star (this one, which I gave!) and a promise to send a reward. 2 weeks later, they lodged a complaint with Airbnb requesting $200 from me for not returning the car hang tag.

Be careful of these fraudsters. Their place is actually in a bad area in Newark, is overpriced, the bathroom is inconveniently located within the apartment, water seeps outside of shower area.

I have written to Airbnb about this penalty charge coming way too late and therefore changing their rating and reviews ASAP. Their modus operandi for fleecing customers...

Overall I had a great stay, but I have to take off a star for a miserable late check in. After a flight delay, I arrived at 1 AM to an ambiguous address on a dark street and when I finally got to what I thought was the correct apartment, my code did not work. Unsure whether I had the right address, I called and eventually got through to someone about an hour later. Not a great start to my trip. But other than that, everything was fine. Once I walked around the neighborhood in the daylight, I realized it was pretty safe, even if they needed better lighting. There were also cool shops and cafes within walking distance and I felt comfortable traveling on foot even to the downtown area. The apartment was also just as spacious, beautiful, and chic as described/pictured, so I wouldn't mind...

What a wonderful gem this apartment is! It really is one of the best we've ever stayed at, and we would stay here again in a heartbeat. It was immaculately clean, had plenty of space for our family, and was beautifully appointed. The in-unit washer and dryer were fantastic (a huge help on a longer trip), and the kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed too. The location was also excellent, with so much within walking distance or an easy Lyft ride if need be- but the parking was the absolute BEST perk, especially in a city like Philly. We were bummed to leave our temporary little home, and we look forward to the next time we're in town and can...
