Discovered Kelly's Dairy Bar in a random search and glad that we did. Though it's been there for nearly twenty years, it sits just off the beaten path from the hustle and bustle nearer to the I71 exit.
Eighteen hole course for under five dollars per person. The holes are mostly 2-3 Parr, what I'd call an easier course (though we did sadly poor, so we'll need to return) , but they're excitedly designed and have lots of neat twist, turns, hills, and challenges. It is very, very well kept. Took two of us (Adults, Dad, and I) 37 minutes to play, assuming more for kids.
The Dairy Bar offers outdoor and indoor dining with a great menu offering up numerous quick service options and also a great lineup of Ice Creme and desserts. Prices are very reasonable, fair portions, and our hamburger fries, and peanut butter shake all tasted fantastic.
Customer service was great. The younger girl running the counter was very pleasant, as was the owner, who greeted us on our way out to the course.
It is very recommended for families. We'll...
Read moreI took my nieces and nephew to play putt putt on the hottest day of the year at 91 degrees outside. Who can play putt putt while lugging a purse around so I paid for the putt putt and locked my purse in my car. While we were on the last course, my niece said she didn't feel well from the heat. I had her sit down while we finished and then I got her inside and had her sit down. I asked the lady for a cup of water and of course her little sister wanted a cup of water too and the lady asked me if I wanted four cups of water and I said yes. She informed me that was going to be forty cents. Really? I just spent $17.00 on putt putt and you can't give us each a cup of water?! She did give one free cup to my niece who felt like she was going to pass out. This was my first time there and...
Read moreThis place is so cool. But what is even cooler is the owner "Jim". Jim takes the time to come out and greet you and he always makes it a point to thank me. He always says 'thanks for spending your hard earned money here at Kelley's, we appreciate it". I love that he appreciates it. If only I could have the courage to tell him that it ain't my money. While my wife's at work I take her cash that she been saving for a new car where she hides it under the bed (she doesn't know that I know that's her secret hiding spot). One day she will find out that I've been taking her cash to spend it on Kelley's amazing SpongeBob popsicles, but til then, I'll continue to be showered with thanks from Jim. Thank you Jim. Your praises continue to enable me to use my wife's hard...
