When I told him what I was looking for, he produced a book with a captioned photo of my great grandfather, great grandmother, grandfather, several of his siblings and their spouses, all at the family home in Mantachie, taken c. 1905. He told me that my great grandfather was the first mayor of Mantachie. I asked where I might find documentation of my grandfather and grandmother's wedding, which I had been unable to find. He made a suggestion which later proved productive. He also found a picture, c. 1920, of my grandparent's first home in Guntown MS.
