Jacob's Produce — Local services in Manteca

Excellent fresh locally grown fruit/produce; family owned/operated; friendly staff. Lots of parking; was not crowded. Conveniently located on Yosemite about a half mile east of 99. No cherries at the supermarket yet on the day after Mother's Day. Went to Jacob's Produce and they had loads of big, tight, sweet and delicious cherries; as well as large selection of other quality fruits and vegetables. Purchased 4lbs of cherries that were even more delicious after a couple hrs in the fridge; a jar of galic/jalapeno-stuffed olives; and a pack of beef jerky--they also have deer, alligator and other wild game jerky. Most produce was no cheaper than the grocery store. A lot of sad looking produce. Boxes of discounted produce for $2/box but pretty much all of it was too past it's prime to eat anymore.
