I thought a lot about adopting vs purchasing a pup. I really wanted a fur companion that could travel with me and wouldn’t weigh over a certain amount. I have issues with my shoulders and suffer to carry over a certain weight.

The process with this family owned business is actually straight forward and easy. You brows online and select the pups you want to visit. They reserve 1-2 pups for you to visit with. The truth is my puppy picked me and that was the end of that story (felt like love at first sight).

The only issues I’ve had were not being given the actual vet medical record of the vaccines (meaning my vet wanted to start vaccines from the beginning) and my puppy had an ear infection the first week at home (had a lot of gunk in its ears). Just keep in mind to have a good primary vet on speed dial, a secondary vet as back up, and some emergency funds God forbid your fur baby gets sick.

Next time we're looking to expand our family, you'll be the first place we call! Just a quick note to all those who are complaining that their Yorkie is huge and therefore not a purebreed. Look up the description of a Yorkie and you'll see that true Yorkshire Terriers are 8-12 lbs and have a longer body with shorter legs. Their coats are a mix of waves and straight hair. This is because they were developed to chase rats and other vermin in the factories. Over time people saw how loving they were and wanted them for pets...lap dogs. Through breeding with a now extinct Australian terrier, they developed the smaller, less active and straight haired Silky Terrier. They are a separate breed even though they look very similar. This place is lovely. They answer calls night and day. I called numerous times originally for “Dougie” he was a lonely pup left behind while all his siblings were sold first. The price was reasonable at the time. A few days later I changed my mind and wanted a girl pup, which the next litter sold quickly. I originally called for “Dougie” and he was still available so I bought him. I ended up paying regular price some days later instead of the discounted price which was a bummer, but it wasn’t too bad. I appreciate the customer service they gave and the support as “Dougie” transitioned to becoming my second yorkie baby. “Dougie” is now Splinter my karate teacher lol. I love and adore him so much. In all this place is great, but can be costly within reason nonetheless. I appreciate them and the fur babies they offer. Thank you guys.
