I'm disappointed in the lack road maintenance in the Ranger District. I pass the office in LA 117 and see 15-20 work trucks and a road grader and other heavy equipment but still, some smaller forestry roads still have not been cleared since Hurricane Laura. Roads like Sheard and Wolf Branch have washed out areas from rains that make for dangerous, damaging navigation. Some of these roads are commonly used by hunters and need to be cleared for access. I wonder if they are short handed, and if so, do they have a volunteer program where we can use their equipment to clear the downed trees and...
