Very nice trail with benches and views a lot of lookout paths to see the lake. And there's a waterfall and elm Creek that flows under a bridge if you walk down further. In the fall time the colors are amazing. And if you take the path the other way you can walk all the way around Rice lake. About 5.5 miles total back to the parking lot. Best of all it's free!

Wonderful place for a short walk along the creek and in the trees marked to show what kind they are. Connects to the Medicine Lake Regional Trail on the north and the local Maple Grove city trail around Rice Lake to the south. Good parking in two lots. Very nice picnic area.

A little hidden gem it seems. Didn’t know this was here until I passed it. We decided to picnic here and go for a walk. It was beautiful! Highly recommend. If you homeschool, it’s a great place to learn about trees as most of them has a plaque near the trunk. Saw some kids fishing, although I can’t imagine it’s great fishing.
