Ravensdale Market — Local services in Maple Valley

I’ve been going to this store for over 20 years and it’s always been my go to store. Shelly and robin were great!! Eugene is awesome. But the main lady that works there won’t say any names. My husband is a man of color and for some reason for the last 6 months my husband goes to ravensdale market and the lady keeps telling him he owes her money for scratch tickets?!?!? We’re like what are you talking about? How can anyone owe you money for scratch tickets when you give them the cash and then they pull them from behind the counter?? So today I call to talk to owner and sandi won’t take down my number or let me leave a message for owner. She ask me what was wrong and I told her it was personal and I need to talk to the owner. She said he won’t call you back and was very persistent on why I want to talk to owner. So I told her what the problem was and she told me she had no idea what I was talking about and come down to the store and we can talk. I don’t want confrontation, I just wanted to talk to owner. My wife found a black lab puppy on the way home he was about to get hit by a car, of course my wife brought the dog home. She took the dog to the Pinetree vet to check for an electronic chip no such luck. We were headed to go to the animal rescue when we decided to stop by the Ravensdale store because that’s where she found the dog. The people were unbelievably nice Kristie the owner said the dog probably belong to someone close by and agreed to take the dog and post it on the Ravensdale Store Facebook page and other sites. When you don't wanna dive all the way into 4 corners this is your only option. And they GENERALLY, not always but usually, have what you need.

They also have a nice little head shop that sells some decent glass smoking utensils.

They have a friendly and helpful staff and even their own t shirts and hoodies if you wanna be one of those local hipster types.

The only thing i can say that's a slight mark against them is the lack of a parking lot, but at least there is unusually large shoulders to pull off onto so it's not completely lacking of...
