There are so many adventures to have in this canyon. Hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, picnics, natural hot springs, historical markers.... An almost endless list of things to do and see. There are a lot of cattle in this canyon. There are a lot if beautiful cabins on private property in the canyon. !!! BE WARY OF COPS !!!

Speed limit is 35. There is only ONE speed limit sign at the entrance of the canyon. It is very easy to go over 35, and cops WILL pull you over, search your car, and hit you with anything possible. We were driving down after dark and saw THREE cars pulled over and AT LEAST ten squad cars.

DO NOT SPEED and DO NOT have ANY open container or illicit substance in the vehicle.
