Food Land — Local services in Mapleton

1 star only becuz I can't give them a half a star. Absolutely the most unprofessional place I've been too. To start applied an was hired on the spot by Renae Maas. Was told background checks take a week. I've waited 5 weeks now I've called every week to be turned away with no reasonable answer. It came under new ownership an not impressed with the professionalism. For A place that already has a hard time in the area, just not what we need in mapleton. Ppl wanna be able to come get hot food an there always closed in the deli? Time for a new grocery store...

Typically I have loved going to Fiesta Foods, and they'd receive 4 stars at least. Good deals from their reward program, and offsets the higher cost of small town store. Usually items are bagged and brought to the car to help be loaded, but they must have been shortstaffed that day. The other final star would be if they actually checked IDs for checks they accept to ensure that they do indeed match the person writing said checks, an issue that I've had at both locations, Mapleton and Onawa, resulting in theft and fruad, with no solution or apology from...

My children were racially profiled, followed around the store. I would not recommend this store unless you're Caucasian. If you're a different ethnic descent please note you will probably be followed around the store. This staff has made my children feel like criminals and this is not acceptable.
