I highly recommend that the Deans encourage the instructors here to foster an environment that isn't caustic. All instructors, new or not, should be personable AND approachable by every student. Professionalism seems to be an issue inside some classrooms here still. If an instructor can't compose their behavior from constant yelling and making scathing remarks inside the classroom consistently, then maybe it's time to consider another career.
