When I say I Love Nan's Country Store, that's an understatement. I learned of Nan's country store a year ago leaving Panama City. I love stopping at highway mom and pop stores. But Nan's Country Store was theee best stop. They have an abundance of Amish products, homemade ice creams, flavored jellies, honey, alligator jerkies, saltwater taffy and many other novelties. One of my favorites are the Amish flavored cheeses and butter. My first time trying it, I instantly feel in love. My boyfriend and I called the store once we got back home. To ask if we could order more online. Or if they can ship any of their products from a phone order. Which they can. But the cheese and butter can only be shipped in the winter season. So this time around I bought almost all the cheese from the refrigerator. Along with another customer. So! If your in the area of Nan's country store in Marianne, Florida. Do yourself a favor...
Read moreI used to love going into Nans county store. Used to go in at least once a week for either an ice cream or milkshake. I have bought several gifts and trinkets. However, now due to their rudeness I will not set foot in their store to give them my business. When I asked them if they still give military discounts the guy was rude when he replied " no we don't do that no more. With the cost of everything we just stopped it." Now if he replied nicely like no ma'am at this time we had to stop due to the rising cost of products. I would have been happy or I should say satisfied with that response. When he was rude I should have just walked out of there without my purchase for I was spending close to a $100.00. It's been almost a year since I've been in there. I now grout of my way and give my business to Country Candy Store towards Panama City. I normally don't like to give reviews because of...
Read moreWe went in for the alligator jerky to bring our son who moved to Canada. I thought it would be more of a local product shop but if you read the labels the jerky is made in Michigan and other jams and pickled items are made in South Dakota and Ohio. The labels that say Nans are from Mariana so it probably started with her. There’s no produce either. We got a package of jerky, a jar of salsa and some Tupelo honey (which should be local) for $42. They do add a few for credit cards which is annoying. Still worth a stop...
