After 7 hours of cleaning and waxing, this is what brought on this heated review… I should have walked away, but I was tired after working 12 hours and riding over and hour and a half to trade my bike in. It’s kinda my fault too for not looking everything over like I should have. But let’s start at the top. Was told that the bike would be cleaned and ready when I got there. Didn’t really pay much attention even tho there was dust on it. Got it home and there is mud on both saddle bags on the handle side. So first issue. Definitely was not cleaned Blemishes definitely were not photographed or mentioned on the ad. Scratches on tour pack. Chrome peeling from exhaust tips and corrosion on exhaust. Small dent in front fender. Crack down face of stereo from top to bottom. Highway pegs were removed and they looked at me like I was crazy until I pulled up the listing and showed them. They took the ones off my trade in and put them on, but now I wonder, just what else was removed or swapped after the photos were taken?? Went to leave and asked where the fob was and was told in the compartment in the fairing. Pulled it out and there wasn’t a key on it. When asked about it, was told I could contact a dealership and give them the vin number and they’d make me a new one. Aren’t YOU a dealership?! So not only can I not lock any storage, I also can’t lock the forks or remove the ignition switch if needed. I pulled my contract out to get information off it for the insurance and really got pissed off. The interest rate on the contract is HIGHER than what I was told it was. There is probably more stuff, but I am at work writing this and just wanna go to bed. Hopefully your experience is better than mine

Stopped in to schedule an appointment for my brother's Dyna. Easily done. The staff was pleasant and attentive immediately, even complimenting my hat, which is a duplicate of Daniel Day Lewis's in "There Will Be Blood". The store was clean and attractive. Obviously well maintained with a sense of pride. I picked up a t-shirt, a patch, and a sticker for myself. While I was a long way from home - East Texas to West Virginia, I felt as if I was back in the tomato capital of the Universe. Whether their hospitality was sincere or not, I did not mind being catered to. I put on my company face as well, being that I was representing the great state of Texas and all of its glories. It was easy in such a splendid environment. I would recommend visiting Williamstown's Harley-Davidson store. It is worth the trip up the hill to get there, and it is just off the Interstate.

Was traveling to Ohio and my bike broke down close to here. had to have it towed to this dealership. They had it for 6 days didn’t even look at it for the first two then did some diagnostic supposedly repinned one wire they found that was “bad” and did not fix the issue. Bike was still under factory warranty but they told me this repair and Diagnostic did not qualify for a factory warranty because I have an aftermarket radio installed… which was installed by the buying dealership at the time I purchased the bike. They didn’t even “test the battery” until day 5 (which I would think if a bike is having electrical issues that would be one of the first things you check) so they charged me almost $900 without fixing it and told me I couldn’t leave with the bike unless I paid and that they couldn’t figure out what was wrong and didn’t fix the issue… had to make arrangements and get a trailer and trailer all the way back to Florida. This Dealership and the dealership I bought the bike at were nightmares to try to work with or get anybody on the phone. They would tell me they would call me back and never called or that this manager was on vacation or that manager was in a meeting and would call me back… Ended up having to dispute the charge with the bank. Took several months, but I got my money back from the bank with no help from either Harley dealership or Harley corporate. They give no priority to travelers and do not want to perform warranty work unless you bought the bike from them. Their service department desn’t care about riders. They care only about their numbers so if you need warranty work good luck if you take it here. I would not send my mother-in-law here for an oil change or to buy a bottle of water. When you buy bikes from any Harley dealership, they give you a folder that says “welcome to the family” then when you have a problem it’s like pulling teeth to get any help and they treat you like your a nuisance that needs to just give them a bunch of money and shut up. I’m probably going to buy an Indian because of this dealership and Harley...

I emailed Mothman Harley Davidson on 4/4/25. Matt (Sales) reached out to me on 4/5/25. We talked about the 2020 CVO Limited they had for sale. I told him I was very interested. He told me how great a dealership they were and that he has worked in many departments. Now he is in sales. I felt good about him at the time that he was going to look out for me. I live in Florida. I told him I wanted some pictures and tell me if any damage. I also asked for a Video of it running. Matt sent the pictures within minutes. I was impressed. I told him what I wanted basically in price per month. I wanted to know interest rates if I finance on used. He said he would get all the info. He called me back at 10:00 and said an amount roughly per month that bike would be. I told him that was fine, but I wanted a breakdown of all fees including if they were able to discount the bike any. He said he would get with his finance guy and call me right back. I also asked again for that video of the bike. He said he would get that too. Well guess what. No call and no video. I texted him at 1:50 central time. (“Any Updates”?). I could see he read it. However no reply. At 6:19 I texted him again. I told him how disappointed I was that he didn’t reach back at all. He sent a reply that he thought he had texted me, but mixed me up with another buyer. He apologized. I did not reply. I thought when they opened up Sunday someone would of reached back. I texted again that I was leaving this review. I could see he read that text too. I told him Harley Davidson doesn’t have a good reputation of late. This kind of crap service proves my point. I’m a U.S. Veteran, Retired Fireman, and was in sales after I retired for 6 years selling campers. MATT is not a good sales man. Don’t ever use him. I hope the owners see this review. Pour service of any kind can kill a business. They definitely lost mine before it...

Mothman HD is the best!

Outstanding Customer Service!

Stopped in October 2023 with 4 co-workers on our annual bike trip. 1 guy in our group test rode the new HD Pan-American, the sales staff was great to work with and highly knowledgeable.

Picked up few poker chips and a shirt during our visit to Mothman HD. When getting ready to leave and press on our bike trip, my 1998 Ultra Classic wouldn’t turn over when trying to start. “Of all places for bike to break down - glad it happened in Mothmans parking lot”

Mothman HD Service Manager: Ryan Choleva and Service Tech: Coy Cantwell were quick to help troubleshoot the problem. They diagnosed and ordered the part same day “Saturday afternoon”.

These guys went Above & Beyond! Our group rode down to WV from Michigan. Realizing my dire situation (hotel 25 miles away and no wheels) Service Manager: Ryan stepped in and offered up and let me borrow his personal car so I could get back to the hotel. It would be few days before the part would arrive and get the bike fixed. Ryan coordinated with Mothman Sales Rep: Tony (sorry didn’t remember last name) dropped me off to pickup rental car the next morning to make it back to Michigan.

These guys went way outta their way to make sure I wasn’t stranded…..Amazing customer service!

Good News, Mothman got the bike fixed in short order. If it wasn’t for fact the bike was my late Father’s I would have seriously looked at trading the bike in for newer when it broke in their parking lot few weeks ago.

NOTE: The bike has run flawlessly since inherited it back in 2014. Happy to get back on the road and ride again. Since the bike is 25 years old, I’ll likely make my way down to Mothman when deciding to upgrade to newer bike in future.

Special Thanks to: Ryan - Tony and Coy for Outstanding...
