Tonight we had the most entertaining evening cooking with Chef Traci. About six lady friends and I got together to make a Moroccan feast, a cuisine I had never attempted to cook before. Chef Traci was so knowledgeable and patient and also acknowledged the folks who were more seasoned cooks. She checked ahead of time about allergies and food preferences and accommodated all our nuances (a vegetarian, a lemon allergy, cilantro sensitivity). She differentiated her instruction and mostly served as a guide and facilitator, answering our questions and providing history and context to the food. She also showed us some techniques that I will be using going forward. I really appreciated her explaining to me how to make preserved lemons, as I have recently been given a big bag of lemons that I wasn’t sure what to do with. I’m excited to try this.

We were allowed to bring a couple bottles of wine and we enjoyed all cooking and laughing and learning together. Then we got to sit down to the meal. Omg! It was sensational. I was truly flabbergasted that we made such a delectable meal with searingly such ease and grace and in so little time (maybe 1.5 cooking and prep hours tops!). We dined and marveled and savored the delicious and healthy food we had prepared. It was so enjoyable and memorable.

Chef Traci will send us the recipes so we can make this at home and she also sent us home with her homemade blueberry muffins and preserved lemon cake (delish!).

Her house is also lovely, a beautiful charming old Berkeley home with a gorgeous dining area and a really functional kitchen. A great friends outing that I...

Saying Traci is phenomenal is an understatement! She is intentional, thoughtful, kind, and professional in every way. She is truly a master at her craft and I am so happy my company booked her for our team engagement offsite last month (having not seen each other in over a year due to the pandemic!) -- a perfect activity for new team members and those who haven't been in each other's presence for such a long time. We made a dish that served everyone's dietary restrictions (3 groups total) and were even served appetizers before the cooking activity and dessert after our cute dinner set up.

Traci was so thorough from the first outreach to the very end of our event. She checked in with me each week to ensure our menu was aligned, directions were clear, set up was smooth, and above else in compliance with covid safety protocol, which I appreciated greatly.

Our small start up office is in SoMa, and it was so easy and convenient to get to the location venue in West Oakland. A short 15 minute drive/Uber/lyft over the bridge -- with plenty parking outside.

She had a staff on hand that assisted with everything from beginning to end; it really was a delightful experience and I truly believe our team is closer and happier because we got to spend this special time together creating something to enjoy.

Support a local women business by working with Chef Traci.

Thank you, Traci -- can't wait to book you again for our...

I was in charge of planning a team event for about 18 coworkers. I came across Chef Traci, and she was helpful and so approachable in discussing our ideas. She suggested a Moroccan cooking class in her larger event space in Oakland. The space itself was charming and full of natural sunlight, and was set up for our class as well as a dining area for us to enjoy our meal together at the end. We were instructed to bring our own beverages of choice, which they had prepared a lovely self-service bar for. In addition, her team had prepared scrumptious appetizers for us to enjoy upon our arrival. We had time to enjoy a drink and some relaxed visiting amongst ourselves as we all arrived, which was the perfect way to shift from our work day to a social gathering. We then split into teams, and made a yummy spice blend that we each got to take home with us. After that we jumped right into preparing our dinner recipe. All ingredients were fresh and prepped for us. Chef Traci's team was friendly and helpful, and their effort together was well organized. As it turned out, our experience surpassed our expectations! Each of my coworkers commented on how much they enjoyed the event! If you're looking for something just a bit different to do with a group of people, I highly...

One of our good friends was gracious enough to host a wonderful group cooking event with Chef Traci during the pandemic. The class was well planned, executed, and managed by Chef Traci and her technical team. The class ran approximately 1.5 hours and we found it fun, jovial, and easy to follow for a wide range of students with different levels of kitchen experience. In the class we made a Thai Lemongrass Meatballs and a Chai Rum Cocktail. Both dishes were inventive and really tasty. I've let Chef Traci and my friend know that we are saving the recipes and we will put them in our cooking rotation. I would highly recommend Chef Traci for her classes.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I did a sushi cooking class with Chef Traci (and Chef Jack) as part of an offsite for my work in May 2025. Chef Traci is professional, organized, and so so warm and fun to be around. The class itself was a nice blend of learning how to make the actual sushi, some history / fun facts about the different components, and getting to relax, socialize and eat. And the sushi itself was delicious!! If you have a chance to do a class with Chef Traci, or just eat some of her food, or even just spend some time chatting with her — do not pass it up!
