Avoid this company at all costs. If I could give zero stars, I would. Let me explain why. On Wednesday afternoon, we lost water at our home—either the pump failed or the well had gone dry. After attempting our own troubleshooting, we contacted several companies, including Triangle Heating, Cooling and Plumbing. Initially, their AI answering system told us they didn’t service wells, but we later received a call back saying they actually did. We described the situation and were told a technician could come out that evening to diagnose the problem. The technician arrived but did not test the power to the pump or attempt to pull it. He simply looked into the well and claimed we needed a new pump. We were told the work could be done the next day—but only if we agreed to the $4,400 cost and financing terms. Being new to well issues, we agreed. The next day, a different technician arrived and pulled the pump, only to discover that the issue was actually damaged wiring—adding another $1,500 to the quote. Again, we were pressured into agreeing. This time, another tech had to be called because the one on-site didn’t have the proper tools. Now we had two technicians—both generally polite, but still rushing the process. They installed the new pump and told us to turn the water back on. Immediately, our lines clogged with muddy water because they failed to bypass the house plumbing. When we asked for help, they were already in their vans and leaving. We were left flushing out thick, muddy water on our own for hours. By Friday, things had worsened. Two new techs came out and, upon arrival, said it looked like the well may have collapsed. While on speakerphone, their manager dismissed our concerns about dirty water—essentially telling us to "get over it." I lost my temper and explained (in no uncertain terms) that we have children and livestock who need clean water. One of the techs adjusted the pump height slightly, but now our pressure tank wouldn’t hold pressure at all. They left us again and told us to call back if anything else came up. I did call back—within the hour—because the system still wasn’t functioning. Saturday morning, I got a call saying the original technician would return. He was genuinely sympathetic and came to the conclusion that the entire pump needed to be replaced—again. Unfortunately, it was the weekend and no suppliers were open, so he planned to return Monday. Sunday, I called to confirm the Monday visit. Monday morning, I received a call from Trevor, the plumbing manager, who informed me they would not be returning. They were "washing their hands" of the situation, claiming they had put more into the job than they were getting out. By this time, they had installed and possibly damaged a pump, a pressure tank, and multiple pressure switches—and we still had no clean water. We flushed two inches of sand and sediment from our system. Our pressure tank bladder was destroyed. Our system would not hold pressure. And Triangle told us to call a specialist because they didn’t know what else to do. So I did. Another company came out and fixed all the issues—within an hour. We now have clean, running water again, but absolutely no thanks to Triangle. The other company also discovered the underlying issue had to do with the initial installation that Triangle performed. They have not followed up to see if we resolved the problem. They were prepared to leave a family—with children and animals—without water for nearly a week. I will be sharing this experience widely and reporting it to the appropriate licensing and regulatory bodies. No company that provides essential services like water access should be allowed to operate this carelessly or unethically.

Please reconsider using this business for your new heating and cooling system for your home. The installation of our new air-to-air heat pump in Summer 2023 was done very poorly causing initial delays in the completion date. The original estimate for the installation was 2-3 days, with an extra 1.5 days budgeted to install the air handling units from the ceiling, which we requested since the basement can flood and paid extra for this non-standard installation, which they agreed to and included in the contract as a separate line item. It was obvious the crew was inexperienced by the end of the first day. It was also clear that there wasn't a senior, experienced person present supervising the job. The air handling unit was installed on the second day of the job. When we went to inspect the progress, we discovered that it had been installed on the floor. We had to call in to point out the installation was incorrect. This paused work over the weekend, meaning no AC for that period (our old system had been working) and of course a delay, since the system had to be uninstalled and reinstalled to be mounted to the ceiling, again as included in our contract as an additional line item with the associated additional cost of a few thousand dollars. Upon completion of the job, we were surprised to note that they hadn't installed replaced the existing wiring with a gauge appropriate for the electrical load of the new system, but we assumed they knew what they were doing. We found out during the coldest week in the winter that they didn't. In January 2024, the coldest week the system had encountered since installation, it failed due to not installing the correct gauge of electrical wiring. The first time the system encountered temperatures below 10F, the system faulted making it such that the heat pump wouldn't run at all, so we had to use the back up electric resistance heat for 2 weeks given how booked they were given the time of year before it could be fixed. Now in the middle of summer, we discovered that the chosen method of mounting the 200+ lb air handling unit to the ceiling was four 1" screws that are meant for screwing into metal, except that they were screwed into wooden joists. It's surprising it held for nearly 1 year before falling. To Triangle's credit, when we contacted them when we discovered the problem on a Saturday, they did come out a few days later on the Tuesday of that week. The sales person was great and very convincing. The issues we experienced were due to them having a green crew without proper and consistent supervision of a highly experienced foreman/supervisor. The number of significant errors and overall poor work quality are incredibly disappointing and unbelievably frustrating given we paid approximately $20k for this new system.

Skylar came out on the day and time scheduled, quickly assesed the issue with my Air Conditioning and repaired it in no time. Very friendly and knowledgeable. He also identified some non related issues in my house and was able to quickly set me up with a plumber. Triangle is really a one stop shop, i've always been happy with their service. Edit: Follow up visit 8 months later, I had flooding in my house late night on Halloween. Triangle sent out Skyler as an emergency visit that night and he was here until midnight helping to figure out why i was getting water in my basement and how we could fix it. Absolutly A+ service from Triangle. Edit 2 (2025): Having sanitary line issues, Triangle came out very quickly with Gabe (HVAC) who was able to analyze the problem and set up an appointment for me with Cody (Plumbing). Cody wasted no time in fixing the issue. Triangle is always the fastest to respond to an issue, and courteous. Triangle's assistants/secretaries who pick up the phone to answer your call are always patient as I explain my million home problems, and work to get an appointment together to fit my schedule, so great thank you to them as well! Edit 3 (2025): Vinnie Mazotta from Triangle is an excellent plumber, came out and fixed some of our old piping in the walls. Cleaned the site before leaving, fixtures look clean and solid. Very happy with Triangle's work over the years on my home improvements. Edit 4 (2025) Ryan fixed an refrigerant leak we had without expensive pressure testing, saved us quite a bit of money and got our AC up and running again before more hot weather comes in. Thanks!

100% do not recommend. First problem : Any company that uses an AI assistant to record and schedule service calls are lazy and cheap. Second they're crooks not just with pricing but with service as well. Called out to evaluate a well pump .said the pump was dead quoted 4800 to replace. The quote was to include a new pump and wiring. When they pulled the pump the had to add an additional 1400 to cover the wire that was all screwed up and more then likely the issue in the first place. They did the job ... But now I've been without water for 2 days going into the weekend to be without for probably 2-4 more days ... They neglected to test the system. When water was applied the entire water system immediately clogged. As I tried to stop them from leaving until it was fixed they said flush it for 30 minutes and changed the filters then jumped in the van and left against my will. Called next day to get them back out because the water was thick muddy tar ... Different tech came out he raised pump 6 ft thinking it might have been dropped to far into mud. In the process of raising it I'm pretty sure during testing they broke the pressure switch and ruptured the bladder on my pressure tank because I can no longer hold water pressure to even attempt to flush to see if raising the pump solved the issue. They came out installed a new switch and bladder tank but still no water pressure. They were to come out on Monday but said they're loosing money and to call a professional. I'm not happy and the manager blew us off and claimed they did nothing wrong that we have more serious issues they can't fix.

So to highlight - Pros - the techs are nice people and tend to be friendly and understanding within reason Cons : Expensive parts markup are insane $1500 for 100ft of wire come on Don't stand behind their work and you will never get the same tech for one job They don't come prepared with basic tools to do the job. No multi meter .No compressor, no bottle to measure well dept. What the estimated to be 90ft was actually 140ft.just basic hand tools. -The work is rushed ... Their theory is how many jobs can we get done not how many jobs will we do right ... A common problem for alot of companies these days. Payment must be made in full before any work is performed . I understand times are tough but I also feel because of this there is no accountability. They have their money why do they have to do a job the right way. 25% down would have been reasonable then the rest upon completion.

$6000 spent and I now have a messed up water system which was just installed last year and they don't want to solve the problem. After a week of headaches I now have the problem resolved in only a few hours from someone who knows what they are doing.

Avoid at all costs. Use the local small business companies. They will take care of you because they are just like us . They don't try to profit from our misfortune unlike...

Absolutely the worst contractor experience of our lives!!! We spent close to $70,000 with Triangle. We had a new roof, hvac system, electrical panel, and plumbing work done. They never finished a job from the start. They would send their workers to other jobs and never complete our work. Four months later, we still have a ceiling in one of our bedrooms that has not been repaired. The workers will not show up. They said we were unkind and hurt their worker's feelings. Really? We pointed out the things that were wrong with your work. Blatant in your face things that nobody would miss. This was especially an issue with the roofing company. The worker's they sent out were actually really nice. It's the management that needs help. We had the HVAC manager come out to our house. He wanted to pull all the warranties on our house because we wanted to fix out bedroom ceiling the right way....not his way. Well, they ended up doing it the right way because their way didn't work. This ceiling is still not complete. Again, the workers will not show up....and the office will tell you they are going to be there. This happened today. It has been a regular occurrence. I posted a review on Facebook site. They took it down. I will say that Donovan, Chuck and Doug treated us with respect and kindness. Triangle does everything to make things look like the company is good at what they do....new vehicles, nice advertisements, lot's of radio ads, lot's of positive reviews....RUN from this company as fast as possible.

I just read your response. I really think you are delusional. Anyone that knows me knows that I'm not like that. They only person I had words with is Zach. He is not a nice person. He is very unprofessional. He was wrong on our ceiling. Ask your employees how Cindy and I treated them???? Or, are they too scared they will be fired. I'm pretty sure after 4 months of stories that your employees walk on eggshells around you and the management. You try so hard to preserve your reputation. You could have had so much work in our neighborhood. You just don't get it....word of mouth is so much more powerful than a radio ad or billboard.

Safety was never a concern of anyone. Your manager threatened my wife in front of your employee. I've never threatened anyone. I had some choice words for your employee Zach after he threatened my wife and threatened to take away our warranties....oops that was not recorded. It was just in front of your employees and my wife. Let's go to court and see who wins. Your a joke of a business. You erase every bad review of your company. You will never survive. Mark my words! Karma will get you. You are a liar and terrible businessman!!

Also, if we were such a bad customer, why did you stay on the job for 4 months?? You got nasty after we asked you to fix our ceiling that you damaged. You denied that you had anything to do with it. Again....where is...
