The Flat Ridge Community Center & Opry is worth taking a trip to! For $12.00 a person get a home cooked meal, hugs and welcomes like you are family, plus a night of wonderful music by the Flat Ridge Boys! It felt like I’d know everyone my whole life, the food was like food I grew up eating (Virginia girl here), and the music reminded me of festivals and music I heard as a child. Such sweet memories! Things like this are fading away over the years it was refreshing to see it and I hope everyone who sees this review drops by to help keep it alive!! PS, save room for dessert!!!

We started coming several years ago when we just had a “hunting cabin” & still lived out of state. We loved the music & fireworks! After my Danny retired early we moved up to Mouth of Wilson. I learned that they had a meal & music every Saturday night, so we started coming every week; now I’m a member of the band (vocals). The meals are always great & the fellowship & music is great!
