How unfortunate it is to leave a poor review on a business my husband and I frequent.
During our visit to the low country this weekend we made a pit stop to the Marion location. (we visit all locations as well). Whilst shopping an older woman in a blue shirt and bangs was near by and had merchandise in her hand and made comments about the clothing and how it was too cropped or oversized for her (pretending to be a customer) I assumed she was another shopper. Needless to say after having her in my close vicinity throughout the shopping trip I decided it was weird and we needed to leave. Later I saw her doing the same thing to other customers. Turns out she was a worker and was behind the counter helping check people out later during the visit. Bad business on Palmetto Outposts part as they just lost loyal customers. Do not come to this place as I left watching this woman standing over other customers and making their shopping experience...
Read moreI own a home in Columbia and one in North Myrtle Beach and ever since this placed opened I have stopped frequently spending several thousand dollars. Today I tried to return a shirt I bought back in May with receipt and even the original bag. I have not been back to the beach where they have been open due to Covid to return my shirt. By the way the shirt was $49 and I had an additional $150 worth of shirts I was going to purchase today. The lady was not nice and said return policy is 30 days and she could not take it back. I said I have spent a couple thousand dollars here and we are in the middle of a pandemic you cannot make an exception. She said no. I said could you ask the manager she quickly came back and said manager said no. So we are in a pandemic and I am trying to support local business. I guess they don’t need my business. I have hundreds of friends at the beach and will tell each one of them of...

The printed prices stores usually cross out, or place the actual price sticker above so you can see how much you're "saving." Seeing signs for miles and miles for this store, we were under the impression it was an outlet store. It is definitely not that. They do have a lot or brands, and a large selection for each. If you are fine with paying full price or more, you'll have lots of items from...
