Bill's Xtreme Adventure — Local services in Marionville

My daughter brought me along (I almost said that I "tagged" along, but lets leave the puns aside) when her sweet little family was celebrating her stepson's birthday for an hour of laser tag. It was decidedly the most fun I've had playing laser tag, as their huge outdoor space at the top of a hill on their property gave it more of a "realistic" feel - as though you had been dropped into a C.O.D. gamescape. The owners were very thorough with safety information, etc., and were genuinely kind folks. It's fun for all ages and I could see it being a fun way for company groups to have a fun team building experience, as they also offer "mission based" play. They indicated that they can also bring paintball to YOUR property as well, which gives them additional high marks in my book. I could have done with far fewer of the larger rocks in the game space that could be an ankle buster for someone not being diligent during game play - and I was 100% gassed by 30 minutes by being on a bit of a slope, but they were very clear during a safety video that preceded game play that you should use your best judgement about not jumping over obstacles and such. Everything was great at first! We were celebrating my sons 15th birthday, at the end the owner said we could unload extra paint balls! The kids were having a blast!!! Until Bill confronted one of the older kids about "why didn't you stop when I said to stop!" Getting to close for confort!! They were just doing what he said. You couldn't really hear him say safty! I know I didnt. So I had to ask him to chill out. Bill was going on and on how it always gets like this the last round. I said yeah because the kiddos dont want it to end thats a good sign not a BAD one. It should have been a celebration and he turned it in to a negitive ending. Maby he should practice some deep breathing or Somthing! Not make it a bad experience right at the end....
