The ladies in the office were pleasant and helpful. However there seems to a difference in service attitude between the office and the older gentleman running the outside service in the yard. he was " gruff" and seemed almost annoyed with my inquiries. I asked about a grill for my Craftsman riding mower and he just stared at me. Then I added that I would buy the whole hood assembly. He then stated," That there were no craftsman parts or mowers in his yard". I had to be escorted into the yard to find a mower handle. Upon entering the yard, not only were there numerous craftsman mowers, but I mentioned to the pleasant young man assisting me, that the perfect craftsman hood was right in front of me on a big pile of hoods. I thought the idea of a salvage yard was to sell used parts as well as new. The " Pick a Part" salvage yards I am accustomed to , would charge a $2,00 entry fee, inspect your tool bag, and send you into the yard without being escorted. You would find your parts and return through a designated area to pay for your parts. Harald's has an excellent set up for this type of operation, and would make money on fees. Also Harald's would not have to waste an employee escorted people around the yard, instead, he could collect fees and mark the part with pricing and date with non-removable marker. Read moreHad a problem with my riding lawn mower so my warranty company sent it here, after they kept it for 3 weeks and kept telling me rudely that they were backed up and didn't have time to even look at it, they call me back and tell me that there is nothing wrong with my mower even though the guy that came out to pick it up had trouble getting it to go in reverse, hints the problem with the mower.
