In terms of local businesses, Big John's is what I consider still new, I went in with an open mind and a love for food. They have a truly unique section of cooler ready to pop in the oven meats/sides, and an even larger selection of frozen already prepared main dishes and sides. Every single time I go, I browse, then go to the counter and ask about something, you tell them an idea of what you are looking for, and they will guide you in the right direction. Not much of a selection on anything... They sell plate lunches monday through friday.But they are small , might want to buy two if you are hungry.... Can't say anything horrible about them. But at the same time can't say much good.Other than the staff are...

I LOVE that these folks use Cajun seasoning without nitrates (curing salt). I believe they are safe with this because they hot-smoke rather than doing a colder smoking. Custom sausage is a 15 lbs minimum order. I always asked for mine...
