Kyrles Seafood & Steak House — Local services in Marksville

First off I’ve been going to Kyrles to eat since I was just a little girl. I wanted to take my mom out to eat a good meal. We got there and waited to be seated. 1st off I was skipped and they sat another group before me. I should’ve took that as a cue to leave but no I was set on a good steak and my mom having a good meal. We ordered the food came out in 10 minutes. We then started eating. I noticed something didn’t taste right. So I asked my mom and she said, “hers didn’t taste right either”! So I asked my waiter if they could please fix it. This BIG man with a glass eye comes out of the kitchen and says, “medium rare is gonna be burnt like that over a fire”. The food tasted completely burnt you couldn’t mask the burnt flavor with ketchup or A1. He says he can fix 1 but he’s not going to prepare 2 steaks again. Insinuating that we just wanted to skip out on our bill. I have never done that before and neither did I want a discount I just wanted it fixed correctly. There was a young man eating chicken and the chicken was over cooked. They don’t know what they are doing in there. The food is not of the same quality anymore. I paid $68 for a meal I didn’t even eat nor enjoy. I could’ve just ate a burnt log and had a better chance at enjoying it. Went on a Wednesday night had our favorite server Mrs. DIANE. As with every visit we have had at Kryles, you're greeted promptly and sat. Ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger with fries, Half a Dozen Fried Shrimp with fries, and Chicken Nuggets. Wednesday night is steady flow of people coming in to Celebrate Brithdays and Anniversaries. Pleasantly surprised. We were in the area at the local casino. We were looking for a good place to have dinner. We did a google search and this place came up so we went there and were not disappointed. The food was great the service was phenomenal. I had the fish platter and the wife had the seafood platter. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good restaurant and good food. We didn’t try the steaks but we heard that they were the best in the area. Get there early because this place...
