Let me start off by saying that I called ahead of time because I live 40 minutes away one way from this place and asked if they had any shad and the guy said yes and I said how big are they cause if they are fingerling threadfin I don’t want them and he said “NO” they are 5” to 6” long and there’s 12 in each bag for $9 each bag and I said can you hold 3 bags because I live far away and I’ll be there shortly and he said “YES.” So I drive down there 40 minutes later and ask for the shad and this is what they had and I asked before I left on the phone and they LIED! Or they don’t know the measuring system because these are 2” to 3” fingerling thread fin shad and I was already invested in $20 in gas and so I said I will take 2 bags and mind you I was told $9 each and he rung it up and it was $10.75 each with a total of $23.01.I replied to the guy that I was told it was $9 each and he said they wasn’t .I wouldn’t have wasted my time with these baby shad and wasted money on gas and was lied to .I wouldn’t be ashamed to be called a “SPORTING GOODS STORE,” and sell this for $10.75 a bag .What a joke ! I was a repeat customer for several years and that just ruined it for me and I won’t be going back.

OK, so I haven't been to Norton's since around 1973, but growing up in Worthington, I spent a lot of range time at the Delaware Park range. I was in High School when I began reloading. Many of the reloading gear I still use today came from either Norton's or Zane's. The picture of the sales floor looks similar to that of when I shopped there. Notable is an 8 ounce steel square can for Hercules Red Dot Powder. It's now an ancient collector's artifact, but in the day, I could bring it in to Norton's for a refill. The can still holds Red Dot for a particular pistol handload.

Great store, great selection, great prices, knowledgeable staff. They always seem to have an old .22 rifle that follows me home. Now a Blue Label Glock dealer. Thanks for the G17. Hopefully they will become a Springfield Armory "First Line" dealer as well

I have been to this shop about a half dozen times and never been treated better, I am new to Archery and i bought a used bow and Justin the bow tech has helped me out allot i sold my first bow and i had him set up my second bow with new strings and new rest. what i like best about the shop is the way everybody treats you as soon as you walk in the door. they don't jump on you trying to sell you something. Justin took the time to help me with my bow and me being new he offered a few pointers. now i bought a third bow and i had him set that bow up to fit me. i was having a hard time pulling the bow and was ready to spend money on a new set of limbs and he could have sold me the limbs and i wouldnt have known better but he sold me rock mods for my bow saved me 150 + and it made the world of difference its like a new bow. Great shop they have gained a customer for life...

Love this place, I have been coming here for a great many years; I can’t drive past without stopping in… When it comes to firearms, hunting and fishing, this is the place to go…I have found some firearms that I couldn’t find anywhere else… when you come in its like talking to friends, even the first time I stopped in with a friend I have always felt welcome. the staff is very knowledgeable, fair, and treats everyone with respect… there is only one time that I ever had a problem, I had bought a WWII rifle that I took to the range and had a problems with, I didn’t have any doubt that they would but they made it right, and they did... I don’t know a gun store anywhere that stands behind their products like they do… just very sad that I’m not in the area as much anymore to give them...
