Super relaxing farm cottage experience in the Blue Ridge Mountains! About a half hour drive north of Asheville. We stayed in the larger 2b 2ba East Fork cottage and loved it. Would be nice for families. The other 2 cabins looked great too. Ours has a secluded side patio with seating, bbq, fire ring and a big hot tub overlooking the sheep meadow. There was a well stocked kitchen (incl oil, spices, coffee, sugar) and comfy beds. Farm fresh eggs and meat available for sale at the farm store. Best bone-in pork chops I've ever had. Grace is landscaping the farm and Jack has completely made the pond a natural pool which is great for swimming. If you are looking to escape the reality of life I highly recommend this place.    Read moreWe stayed at one of the cottages in August with our two children (aged 6 and 4). We had a lovely time. The owner is very friendly and very knowledgeable. The farm is gorgeous. The kids got to feed the fish in the pond, feed the sheep and collect eggs. We had dinner one night in Asheville since it is just a 30 minutes drive. We will be back soon. Thanks again...
