Stockton Farms Country Store — Local services in Mars Hill

The store is very clean and competitive to the other gas stations in the area, however DO NOT try and place an order for food. Unfortunately the new management doesn't appear to care who works for him in the restaurant and 8-9 times in the last two weeks have TRIED to place a to go order for pizza, but the food workers take the phone off the hook so they don't have to work. Drive up myself and see they are outside sitting at the picnic table, smoking cigs and visiting with friends instead of taking orders. Then say the oven is turned off! This is not a one time thing, it's happened way too many times to count in the last few week's, might as well put a closed sign on the door, bc nobody is working...

I have stopped multiple times after driving 15 minutes from home to get a pizza because no one will awnser the phone get there and the lady is too lazy to make one it clearly says on door they take orders till 9 and she shuts it down at 8:20 it’s a shame cause u can’t sell pizzas if u don’t wanna make an effort to make them this is like the 4th time this has happend the same way so I finally wanted to write a review so maybe the owner can see this and take action there isn’t even individual slices half the time so disappointing And it’s the same lady...

During the gas crisis they had a $10 Gas limit, which I understand because so many people need gas in the community. However I watched the two trucks in front of me fill their tanks up, but when I went to ask for more than $10 I was told no $10 limit no matter what. Luckily store right down the road from where I work on till the road had gas yesterday Friday the 14th or I would not have made it home. So I don't think I'll be going back to get any...
