Conway Rest Area Eastbound — Local services in Marshfield

4 Stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ I am giving this rest area for stars. It’s very unique each picnic area is its own unique building with signs as if you were traveling down Route 66 🙂. There is tons of walking room for yourself to enjoy or for you to take your dog for a stroll. There is security cameras at this rest area and there is tons of truck parking I mean tons. I was kind of disappointed when I walked in I was hoping for some kind of art piece like the last Missouri rest area but there wasn’t just a couple random route 66 signs but the cool thing was they offered a Keurig and a microwave for whomever needed to make a cup of coffee ☕️ or warm up their food 🍲 right next to the vending machines. The restrooms were actually clean 🧼 only because they had someone here cleaning them, but they were still outdated. They did have a welcome center/ visitor center but once again, it was closed because it’s Sunday…. I would say the only thing that really makes this rest area stand out. Is there picnic areas that have all the cool signs painted to represent Route 66 old school businesses!!!! One of the best rest areas I've spent the night at. Plenty of truck parking even after midnight. Updated and clean restrooms. As I walked around, it appeared to me that a whole lot of thought was put into the design of this particular rest area. The welcome center inside was closed probably due to it being Sunday. I admire the decor on the tiny pavilions outside.

Inside the building within the hallway hung on the wall there is a large plaque listing the names of Missouri DOT workers that tragically died while in the conduct of their duties. I recommend taking the time to read the names and how they died. It's a small representation of the men and women that keep our country...

Someone posted before that the restrooms were clean when they were here, but only because someone was here cleaning them. I come here all the time. I've been coming here for almost 6 years, and from my experience, it's never NOT been clean, no matter what time of the day or night. I actually mean not once. They take impeccable care of this place. So if cleanliness and order are very important to you, they are to me as well, and the only places I will use the restroom along 44 between Springfield and Rolla are Bucc-ees and here.
