First off, this review is really for "Trout Run Nature Preserve", which is just across Stump road from the Steinman Run Nature Preserve, which I have not yet visited. I recommend parking in the Steinman parking lot and then walking West a few hundred yards to the entrance of Trout run (North side of Stump road). Regarding Trout Run - All I can say is "Wow!". This place is a hidden gem. The well marked blue trail, which splits at one point - high trail versus low trail, goes to the same place, takes you to an exceptionally lovely creek situated in an over-the-top picturesque ravine with some very fascinating rock features. One of them, a large stone monolith, had a slightly parabolic surface such that if you stand at the right spot, the relaxing stream sounds are reflected and beamed back into your ears. Easy to social distance here since it seems like not many know about this place. Check out the toad-in-a-hole picture I've attached.
