I have never written a negative review but both the haircut as well as the treatment my boy received were .. unacceptable. We were a walk-in and wanted a cut with buzzed and blended sides into his beautiful full mop of hair at the top which I specifically said to please not even touch much. Immediately proceeds to buzz past the hair part and into the long hair. The sideburns are about an inch higher than I requested, the buzzing that was done at the top is shorter than at the bottom, making it look like a hole. The scissor trim resulted in a significantly slanted (on one side) visible line, buzzing went into random places. They created a complete egg shape. Neither of us complained, I just quietly resigned myself to going to another place and having it fixed. But then they must have caught on to it being a bad hair cut and started berating my kid that he should have brought a photo (again, he didn’t even say anything) and in completely rude mannerism and tone of voice kept on forcing the conversation ‘Do you understand?! I mean I can’t read your mind. Does that make sense now? Does it?’ I was completely mind blown that they would talk to us that way - let alone my kid! I asked them to stop and they kept on defending why they were berating my quiet child. Lastly I want to mention how rough they were. Her tools were clearly sub par since their buzzer hurt and they complained about his full hair at his sides (about 1’’ long) as being at fault for that. He was not sure which way to lean his head so they grabbed his head with two hands and jerked it. I did not catch their name but will avoid this place as a result. I am seriously appalled at everything that happened. It’s a haircut for crying out loud. It doesn’t have to be and experience like this. We went to another place afterward, who was shocked at the haircut. She spent about 30 minutes fixing it and had to cut most of his mop off as a result of the random buzzing that...
Read moreTerrible experience!! I asked for a brown base with heavy blonde highlights. I repeated my desire for Heavy highlights repeatedly. When the final wash was done and blow dry mostly complete, it was strikingly obvious that "heavy highlights" meant a very few pieces all over with chucks of blonde-think a skunk. When I expressed how dismayed I was, the hair-stylist and manager spent 20 minutes trying to convince me that my 98% brown hair was indeed..wait for it...all over blonde! This was 3 1/2 hours after I came in. I would have been ok with the hair "person" redoing it if both her and the manager had not been so belittling in their remarks. when I left (after writing a check for a $20 tip-she did spend 3 1/2 hours on me after all) the blonde with the short blonde hair at the counter was equally dismissive and out right rude that my "tip" wasn't even good anough for the stylist I had. Do NOT go to this "salon". If you are not happy with your final cut/color, you will have a fight on your hands trying to convince the manager that you actually DO know what you wanted in the first place. Unless you want to look like a...
Read moreMy daughter had an appointment for her first haircut. Chrissy was booked up so they gave us Shannon. She didn't even show up until the exact time the appointment started. She was screaming on the phone at a customer in front over everyone in the waiting room several times. She finally called my daughter back and gave me a complete attitude when I wanted to tell her what style my daughter wanted. She said she can tell me herself. My daughter was scared to death of her. Needless to say, we left. I made sure to let her know we weren't going to be treated like she treated the client on the phone. Her hair is horrible so there's no way I would ever let her touch my daughter's hair. I live for kindness and good...
