Conowingo Dam and Bridge — Local services in Maryland

This has got to be the most inconvenient way to get anywhere that I decide to go ! For whatever reason WAZE doesn't choose to tell me that they are down to 1-lane of traffic flowing with flagMen, nor that it is CLOSED altogether and I will ve forced to turn around and retrace my entire route to go back to Rt 40 or I-95.

I get it that it needs construction or maintenance, and Lord knows I want it to get everything it needs done to it foe us to travel safely.... BUT WARN THE LOCALS, so we can make other route plans vs finding out when we are at the traffic light turning to go...

Nice bridge. Got the pleasure of sitting in the middle of it while waiting for emergency crew to attend multiple vehicle crash at the other end of the bridge. Was able to get out look at the scenery and make new friends who also got out of their vehicles. Would definitely do...
