MauiMiRa — Local services in Maui

We are from Germany and got married at Maui. I really wanted a stylist for our big day. By chance, I was made aware of MiRa. After checking out her homepage and her Instagram page, it was immediately clear to me that I really wanted to have MiRa as my stylist. Luckily she was available on our wedding morning and I was able to book her.

MiRa was great in so many ways!! I was practically "alone" in the morning on our big day since my husband and I traveled alone from Germany to get married. I was very nervous, but MiRa took away a lot of my nervousness with her calm and loving nature. I felt totally comfortable and in good hands around her.

I have neurodermatitis and therefore a very sensitive skin. The products that MiRa used for the make-up were great and didn't bother my skin at all. The make-up lasted until the evening although it was very warm at our wedding and I was sweating!! MiRa even gave me some kind of pad to freshen up my face. She also gave me the lipstick. It was important to me to have a natural look at the wedding. Nevertheless, as a bride, I wanted to have beautiful make-up. MiRa was able to implement my wish very well. My husband and I were very pleased about the make-up. And our families and friends, to whom we sent pictures, also thought it was great.

But not only the make-up was wonderful, but also my bridal hairstyle. I showed MiRa pictures in which direction I imagined them and MiRa created exactly my dream hairstyle! And the hairstyle stayed perfect throughout the day!

I'm a very self critical person, but thanks to MiRa I felt like a beautiful bride on our wedding day - thank you for that!!

MiRa was an absolutely caring and excellent in her craft as a professional. MiRa was very genuine in personality. She told me I needed hair flowers for my dress. I did not have much idea. So my whole wedding look was finalized by MiRa. It was very well put together.

I didn't have anyone to help me for my very first wedding on Maui. MiRa went above and beyond to help dress me and then chase my son around in the most hilarious way in our hotel suite to get him dressed and his hair done as if he's her own. My 15 year old son is high functioning autistic so he has some sensory issues getting all dressed up and would not listen to me.

After our beach ceremony at the Wailea Beach, a toddler boy was totally in awe with me when he spotted me while we were awaiting for the car from the valet at the Grand Wailea. The mom told the little boy I was a princess and he was even more in awe. That's the most unforgettable for me, after all the compliments from total strangers as we traversed through the Grand Wailea to get to the Wailea Beach.
