We reached out to Michelle at Poggenpohl and several other design professionals, contractors, and cabinet suppliers to provide help remodeling our kitchen. Michelle responded to our request for an initial meeting promptly, while most other firms never responded. At our initial meeting it was clear that Michelle knew her subject matter and was a top-tier professional in her industry. We presented her with the following reasons for kitchen remodel:

My kitchen was constructed nearly 20 years ago. It is a great Poggenpohl design and color no longer produced. Michelle became my search engine and Rock star as she worked with the factory in Germany. Our goal was to repair water intrusion on two doors which started as an expected easy fix. Hurdle after hurdle became a regular part of this repair. A design no longer produced, a unique grove in the door required a special router to create a grove, green textured matte color no longer available, custom finish carpenters and painters were on another island and the list went on and on. Never once did Michelle lose focus, she product searched, managed each tradesmen on their work and provided us regular updates and status reports. She became my “rock star”. Having spent much of my life in and around high end professional kitchens it was critical for me to get it right for our kitchen at home. Miele was the perfect choice for us and Poggenpohl Kitchens Hawaii was the perfect partner. The team was able to get us our appliances with only a minor delay even though supply chains were seemingly breaking down everywhere. The appliances were absolutely worth it - the dishwasher, range, steam oven, refrigerator, coffee machine and pellet ice maker are the heart of the kitchen. Each unit operates like it’s the best in class. The steam oven in particular is used nearly every day - heats up super fast and can do everything from broil to proof bread, dehydrate to making yoghurt.
