Good evening, We just had the worst day ever with Chris on the road to hana tour. He picked us up and we noticed he had a bunch of bumps and welts on the back of his head, no big deal. For the next 11 hours this man yanked at these bumps on his head and would play with the skin in his hand the flick it into the air sometimes landing on us. He was bleeding from the back of his head at certain points of the trip. Throughout the trip i tried to take good videos but all you can see is this guy picking his head. All I remember from my road to hana tour was this. I am contacting you, I am reaching out to the health department and I'm having chase cancel my payment. I want my money back but I really wish I had my second full day on maui of my honeymoon back. I would have preferred doing the drive ourselves. My new wife was very patient but I'm lucky she didn't leave me at Hana. We did not confront the gentleman because we felt trapped with him as our driver. Remember that you will be stuck with a random person for the entirety of the trip. We did a private tour hoping to avoid some discomfort but got...

Dray's greeted us at our front door and went out of his way to learn everyone name and what we had heard about the road to Hana and what we hoped to see. He did not worry about the destination as many other tour we saw that day. He knew make the tour about the journery. He did not just use a plan from the group before... We had kids, so it was off to the climbing and trekking to see the waterfalls. The older crowd got to see the state arbortium and learn more about the wild and unique fauna of the island. Dray was not one to be sitting in the van pointing to path and wishes us well either. He was the first out of the van to leads us onward to adventure. We did not know what the day would bring, but Dray and Road to Hana tours made it a day...
Read moreBrandon of the Road to Hana Private tour (7/31/21)was fantastic! We truly enjoyed our day on the Road to Hana with Brandon as our guide. Careful driving, great background color of local areas, scenic stops—turtles! Rough scenic coastline! Bamboo hike! Swimming in Impressive waterfalls (great day to wear Keens/Tevas), tasty treats along the way, both at fruit stands, banana bread at Aunty’s, even Brandon’s finding wild passionfruit for us along the roadside. Our trek ended next to last stop at Hana’s food trucks (bring cash) then a final stop just past at wonderful Haiku beach. And the return trip was a fun chance to reminisce about this wonderful day. Thanks, Brandon— your calm demeanor and aloha spirit extended even to how you helped keep our 10 yo adventurous son loving the day. When we got home, Zach’s exact words: “This was a too good to be true day.” Highly recommend this wonderful tour and hope you’re lucky enough to...
