I have never been so p'd off in my life. I let Mr. Lumley & his worker change a 22 inch tire off a rim for 38$. I noticed him dismantle my tire from the rim using flat metal tool. Not giving it any mind until after the job was done. They lost one of my spike lug nuts. & the worker couldn't remember whether he took off 5 or not. But told me that I was the one who lost it up before they did the job. So I let that go didn't want to argue! So I pay & go. I leave but stop up the road at the kwik stop. & take a deeper look at my rim because I thought about the metal on metal when he changed the tire out. I then noticed around the lip of rim all the scratches covered with white soap. I then drove back to Mr lumley but caught them in the process of closing up.So I start by saying that Mr. Lumley I don't want to put up a big fuss about it but your guy scratched up the rim then I go to show him the lip of the rim & immediately said that his guy didn't do it without a doubt. We go back forth. Him denying that his guy didn't do it but he also seen him removed the tire & admit to him using the flat metal tool. He then goes on to tell me to leave his property before he calls the police. Meanwhile his guy is standing there lying saying he didn't do it as well. I gladly left his property. & was also told to never come back. Like as if he hurt my feelings. If y'all have any sense find a better businessman to do business with because he is not of them. I will never return & he didn't have to bar me either. He doesn't even deserve that one...
Read moreBrought car in for an alignment, well they killed the battery then apparently boosted it off incorrectly and blew my steering module leaving the car with inoperative power steering yet still charge me for the alignment and blamed the battery going dead that caused the issue. When the service writer called back to the shop and ask the tech if the car had power steering when he pulled it back there he blatantly lied and said it didn't The sad thing is before I got in the car I paid the bill and I handed that man a $20 tip then he turns around and blatantly lies!!!! Why they needed to leave the key in the on position to do an alignment, but if that's their method that's fine that's why they make battery maintainers that hook up to the car and it keeps the car at 13 volts. Leaving the key in the on position with the stereo and subwoofer amp going plus the HVAC fan blowing...... I came there with the air conditioning on..... and not turning none of that off.....well of course the battery is going to go dead. Luckily I'm a 41-year automotive technician with a ASE Master Certification so I can fix it myself which is what I intend to do but I will never bring another car back to this facility. I have owned three auto repair shops and I understand things happen but I have always stood behind my customers and my work apparently these people don't feel the same way. Anyway with me doing the repair work and paying them for a front end alignment I'm out...
