I used to love spending time at the local raceway with my family, but ever since the new owner took over and decided to eliminate the free entry for neighbors, itâs completely lost its appeal. It is apparent that they do not want to be a good neighbor and have come in with a âscrew youâ policy to the community. The only benefit we had for putting up with the constant noise of loud cars racing around was being able to attend the events without paying a steep price. Now, weâre expected to fork out $80 just to visitâa far cry from the small perk we once had. Instead, we just get to listen to the cars roar from our porch
This place went from being a neighborhood favorite to a source of frustration. The new ownership clearly doesnât value the relationship with the surrounding community. I urge them to reconsider this policy and show some appreciation for the people who have been more than accommodating through all the noise and disruption. Until then, I wonât be supporting this place any longer.
It blows my mind that they think it is wise decision. Not only will the neighbors not visit they have chosen to...
Read moreThis is a 1/4 mile track but they run a lot of 1/8 races like many tracks are doing now. Doesn't have a lot of amenities. It has reopened under new management and they are friendly and are investigating first to make the track safe with a well prepared surface. I believe that there will be more improvement year after year. Has just one fet of bleachers for spectators but it's above the starting area with a great view of the burnouts and starts. With nothing in the wat to see the finish line. The one bad thing it the timing boards were not working the end of July this year. Did hear when they would be fixed. But the win lights come on and the PA is loud enough to hear the results most everywhere. Go to Facebook to get information on...
Read moreWell after talking to the obviously greedy and unethical owner. I highly recommend NOT wasting your money at this track. Milan dragway is supposed to be reopening next year. They have always had a real tech station there. They are set up so that the safety of the racers and spectators come first. Any police/fire/emt (if not already there) can get in safely. I would not spend a dime at this unprofessional, mismanaged track. If you like being around rusty shipping containers with cracked concrete on the top being connected by sagging walkways. This is the place for you. Helpful hint. Read the reviews with 3 or less stars for real helpful information. And the 5 star for...
