I had been looking all over for an antique black chest of drawers with no luck. We went into Gilliam Thompson and a very nice lady met us right away. We were also looking for a small table for the living room so she showed us a really nice one in the color we needed and then she took me to a selection they had of black chests. They were all reasonably priced and I decided on one of them. We also mentioned we had ordered a recliner at another store and it was taking so long to come in. She showed us a few they had and one of them was the perfect color and style. The price was also better than what we had ordered at the other furniture store in Paducah. We bargained with her and she gave us a good deal on all 3 pieces of furniture and she mentioned they delivered. It was the Saturday after New Years so we asked how soon. She said they could deliver that Wednesday and it was free delivery too! I highly recommend doing business here. We bought a sectional couch last year from Gilliam Thompson and really liked the service and price we received. We knew when we bought the couch that we had one accent chair that we would need to replace but we decided to wait. Last week we decided that our mattress was very old so we needed to start looking for a new one. We made Gilliam Thompson our first stop because we really felt good about our last purchase from them. When we walked in the door we found a chair that we both liked that was very comfortable. We made our way to the mattresses and tried several out. After talking to Amanda, who also sold us our couch last year, we decided on a White Dove mattress. While looking at mattresses we found a bed that we also liked. Amanda was able to give us a great deal on the bed, mattress and the chair so we bought all of it. Amanda was so patient and knowledgeable and friendly.
