Because they advertised on their website that they follow a spefic set of covid protocols, I am including it in my review. It's not meant to debate covid.
Now, if you don't care about any of that, then you will have fun. There are many play areas for the kids to enjoy and the scenery is very nice. I found it to be a bit worn down (a couple of broken play equipment items, worn outdoor seating), but it is free (with the exception of the rides, food, pumpkins)! I realize correlation is not causation, so the wear may be from the frequent use not neglect by ownership, as this venue has been around for a long time and draws in many people.
Covid review: Their staff did not wear masks when my family attended on a weekday. In areas/rides where social distancing could not be obtained, they did not require or verbally ask/remind patrons to wear their mask. We were able to socially distance in most places, but the hayride did not allow for social distancing and no one who got on had a mask (or was reminded of the requirements for one), so we got off the wagon and traded the tickets for credit to purchase pumpkins. There were handwritten notices at the venue that masks were required and their were hand sanitizers readily available and free to use.
I am giving 3 stars because I found their covid protocols advertised on their website to be misleading and poorly enforced. If this isn't important to you in a review, then add in the...
Read moreI've been to this pumpkin patch 3 times and it seems like they have expanded alot. Lots of areas for kids to play but it can also be enjoyed by adults without kids as well. They have food like burgers, hot dogs, and various other food to choose from as well as shaved ice. There's a large sunflower field that you can go to pick flowers yourself for one dollar each no matter the size or color of the flower. It's better and more convenient to bring cash or else there's a fee for using a card. You can take a hay ride to the field to pick a pumpkin yourself or you can buy ones that they picked already as well as some corn. There's also venders selling different things similar to what you would find at a farmers market. One of the venders I saw sells jams and pickled items in jars. I will definitely keep returning as I've had a fun and enjoyable time each time...
Read moreIt was extremely busy. The place itself was wonderful. They hayride was long with actual hay and you got a full size pumpkin (not a pie pumpkin). Nice playground. Nice food area. Good food. Nice portions. It doesn't even cost to get in which is a HUGE plus for big families. It only cost $1 for hayride and $5 for the pumpkin. However was literally no place to park. We had nowhere to go and drove until someone left. We were 30 minutes trying to park. It was 30-40 minute wait for the hayride. The mud didn't bother me because I was expecting it after the rain (everything including our car sank), but having said that, it wasn't "as busy as it normally is" I was told by the staff. It was so chaotic that I may never go back, but they still deserve full stars. The staff was great, the...
