Bethune Meat Market — Local services in McBee

This place WAS the best thing going for Bethune. Word is, the mayor chose not to renew their business license, so they recently moved to McBee, to an unoccupied building on Hwy 1, about 100 yards from the main intersection in McBee. They've built a new building right next door, set to open sometime in August. This is a great operation, selling what an owner told me is broken pallet goods from to warehouses...not expired goods, at greatly reduced prices. I highly recommend, no longer Bethune Meat Market, but now Discount Foods...

Great selection of stuff at really good prices. Canned goods, juices, condiments, freezer items and even fresh meat and some fresh produce. Some of the freezer items look a little on the freezer burnt side but there were plenty more options. Definitely something a small town like McBee needs, just get there early for the good stuff.
