McClure Bean Soup Festival & Fair — Local services in McClure

I was so astounded by the friendly people operating the parking lot alone let alone the friendly people in all the paid for both selling their items One by one whether it be outstanding cheesesteaks or merchandise of some sort. Beats the Lock Haven labor Day JC's regatta hands down by 90% in recent years!! Not sure what's going on in Lock Haven but it's not 20 years ago? Back to the bean soup festival in McClure Pennsylvania What an outstanding show What an outstanding event well worth the 50 minute drive to take my 11-year-old daughter to she had an outstanding great time. She asked me to go back a week later. She didn't understand it's only once a year lol Thank you McClure Pennsylvania and everybody involved in the bean soup festival. Happy New year and...

Wasn't impressed 😕 1st time at the Bean Soup and walked around the place and although there's alot of stands to pick food from there's very few that have straight up HOME cooking. I was just so hungry for a meat, potato and vegetable kind of meal and although fried, greasy fair type food seems to be the "norm" i didn't want that type of food.. So im gonna recommend this IF you wanna take the kiddos to enjoy a nice fair type setting but I would've enjoyed a bit of home cooking dinner options myself.. and the outdoor music wasn't at all what I would've sit down to listen to...it seemed to catch the eye of the 50-70's...

It's alright if you need something to do it got way smaller than I remember. Oh and remember to bring your fat wallet everything is way to expensive it cost $11 just for a sausage sandwich...that's nuts! The people are very nice though...that's cuz they're making bank. I went to a vendor and asked how much a ring was and she told me $35....I can get the same exact thing on Amazon for $9. The only food place I saw that had fare decent prices was the one for the fire company they set there prices like they...
