Absolutely love this place! I was born in Southern Missouri, and there was a brand of baloney named KREY we could get down there. For years I looked for it up here to no avail. One day I just googled "Krey Bolagna near me", and google happened to find this stores grocery flyer that said they were having a sale on Krey Bolagna. Within a day, or two, I made the 1.5 hr drive from my home to Hermann, and upon confirming that yes they really did have KREY Bolagna, I was so excited that when ask "how much of it do you need?" I brilliantly answered 12 pounds sliced 1/8" thick. The elderly lady looked at me, I wish I could remember her name, and with a shocked look said "EXCUSE ME!?" I restated my order, and she ask, "You really do want 12 pounds of bologne?" So I stated, "Yes Ma'am I really do." So she smiled, began cutting the bologne, and ask me what the story was with needing so much balogne. I explained that I had a lot of family members who if I went back home with Krey balogne, and didn't have any for them, that there would be trouble! When finished slicing it I walked up to the front of the store to check-out with the entire seat area of the cart overloaded with all of the balogne, and had to tell the story to the cashier as well because none of then had ever seen one person buy that much balogne at one time. Typically, they have good meat on most of our stops but a few times their has been hair in the meat packages and always black specks of something in the chicken. You can find items that you cant fimd at the big box stores on occasion. The older women that work in the front are generally rude and hurrysome. The very young girl with shorter dark hair is always a delight and very helpful. The younger male kids are always nice as well. As a "boomer" I appreciate seeing young people be polite, and I'll try to catch her name next time we stay near Hermann and go to...

Best meat market anywhere!!!! Excellent selection & top quality meats🍖!!!! I was presently surprised the first time I shopped there. I moved to the area from Lake St Louis about 3 years ago ( I say area because my address can be either be a Warrenton,Truesdale or Hermann address "crazy, I know" ). I've shopped @ alot of specialty meat markets up tward the city and this one usually has just as much to offer if not more @ GREAT PRICES & quality too boot!!!!!
