Scotty’s Playground is “the tallest indoor play structure in the Northwest.” It is named after Scott Banke who died of bone cancer in 2002 at 12 years old. Although it is at a Christian church, they welcome everyone for FREE! There is a HUGE multi-level play structure with climbing obstacles, crawling tubes, a cargo net bridge, tube slides, lookout observation windows, and more! The playground is cleverly decorated with douglas fir trees, a sun, and a 3-story tall mural! The large play structure is for ages 3-11. Another small structure and foam pads are for infants to 3 years. They also have foosball and air hockey tables. They even sell snacks! The bathroom is clean and there are step stools for the toilet and water fountains. Parents are not allowed on the play structure, but there are tables to sit and watch or visit with others. Shoes are not allowed and socks are required in most of the floor, so there’s cubby holes to store them. It’s all FREE and it looks like they have a donation box in case you want to help contribute to the maintenance and whatnot. I think it’s all volunteers who tend to the playground, so be nice and show your appreciation.

Read moreI'm sad because I really want to take my girls here, but they're only ever open during work hours. Hopefully they will open up on the weekends soon. With it being so rainy in Oregon, it would be really nice to have an indoor playground around here.
Edit: Down grading from 4 stars to 1. We brought our girls here to play on Friday around 345 and despite kids playing inside, we were rudely told they were closed, and too bad due to capacity. You're only open for 2 hours today. I SCOURED the website for info, but no where did it say we needed to be there at the opening time, about limited capacity, a sign up sheet, or anything. The lady didn't even offer us a wait time. 30 mins of play is better than none. My girls are crying because they were so excited, and this is the only place in town. I'm incredibly disappointed and will not be attempting to go back. I can't handle anymore...
Read moreMy granddaughter loves this place. Unfortunately I am unable to take her there. The staff do not remind people to keep their masks on appropriately, even though this is a state mandate. I have seen people wearing masks below their noses and last trip four people came in signed in and wandered about with no masks. The staff is quick to admonish people about the shoe policy but do not say a word to those not following mask policy. Unfortunately I have diabetes and my health is threatened by the disregard for others that is practiced at the playhouse. I could not find a way to speak directly to person in charge and hope they...
