Eagle Ridge Farm — Local services in Mecca Township

I am certainly glad that I took the 15 minute drive north to Eagle Ridge Farm yesterday morning. 14 years of car corn which turned out to be 15 were only Four dollars and .25 cents. This is a better deal than you get in our local supermarkets. The best deal is that this corn is fresh and delicious actually reminded me of being home on the farm when I was a kid. This was without a doubt the best car I have had in for five years. I will certainly be back next week for a second go around. Of the six ears of Bi-color corn that I cooked last night five of them were plump tender and sweet, one was a little immature but still quite satisfying. Visited last week to get some freshly harvested corn 🌽 and pick flowers. Sweetest, freshest and largest eats of corn EVER. Also got the sweetest cantaloupe🍈 ever and didn’t have to salt the canteloupe to bring out the sweetness (am I the only person that salts cantaloupe?). Hubby and I also had a great time selecting and cutting our floral bouquet 🌺🌼. Also loved finding out about the Luffa (Loofah) plant growing on the arches (never knew loofahs come from a plant!). The staff are so friendly and I loved the “sweet corn hotline.” Hope to visit again next year. Great summer...
